Here is the intital demo episode of Wonder Beer Radio. Just got some equipment today after figuring out yesterday that I had everything but a microphone and cables to kick this thing off. I guess that storage room that is a mini Radio Shack of equipment and cables going unused came in handy after all. Unfortunately, I already ordered some other items from Amazon that arrived today and others arriving on Monday. Ended up having to run to Guitar Center late this afternoon to get an adapter to finalize a setup. Some kinks in this first demo episode. Figuring out to ensure that I hit pause and Audacity stops recording being one of them. The other, as you will hear shortly by pressing the button below to listen to the show, is that I need to figure out how to get the volume from the microphone to be louder in the mix. I thought I would have had it solved with ghost power, but that apparently is not the issue. Maybe I am just too far away from the mic. Another may be scripting some of what I want to say and documenting setlist information before putting this write up together to post on the blog. We will work on those items going forward. You gotta start somewhere, right!?!
